Racor pioneered the concept of multi-stage water separation and fuel filtration and it remains unsurpassed in its ability to remove fuel. Here’s how it works:
 
fuel flow is controlled so large free water and solid contaminates are separated first and fall into the collection bowl
Smaller particles of water bead up, or coalesce, on the sides of the can and the aquabloc element. As they become larger and heavier, they fall into the collection bowl
Aquabloc elements stop emulsified water and tiny particles of rust, dirt, and algae. Because aquabloc elements are waterproof, they are more effective and longer lasting
